I am currently Media Designer for a Visual Communications Team that provides support both internally to our consulting firm and externally to our government clients. I have an extensive background in video production/post-production that encapsulates the entire life-cycle from nuts to soup. This includes shooting, non-linear video editing, audio recording and sweetening, motion design, image manipulation and encoding video content for the web. In addition to my functional skill set I have worked closely with many government clients and have a deep understanding of Government culture. My work history includes experience with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US Postal Service (USPS), the US Navy, the Army Environmental Center (AEC), the US Courts (AOUSC) as well many other government agencies.My team and I tackle a plethora of deadline-driven challenges presented by our clients on a day-to-day basis. In addition to my functional skill set, I serve as a Project Manager to many of our video tasks. This may include managing the budget and milestones on multiple projects, developing estimates and ROMs, meeting directly with a variety of clients, leveraging external resources and managing staff. My functional expertise in production enables me to deliver projects that are professionally polished, under budget and on time.At my core I am a problem solver, and I leverage my creative background to address the needs of the client and help them realize their own vision.
